OxygenOS 4.1 (Android 7.1.1 Nougat) Rolling out for OnePlus 3 and 3T


Good news for the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T users as the company started rolling out latest software update for the duo. The new firmware update will upgrade your existing stock Android to Android 7.1.1 Nougat and OxygenOS to 4.1. Definitely there will be lots of improvements and bug fixes.

The latest software update is rolling out through OTA (Over the Air). If you yet to update your smartphone, then go to your settings and  check out the latest update for you. 

The update news spread out from the OnePlus Forum members. They highlights many bug fixes and improvements on OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T with this OTA update. The main improvements took place in Camera and Screenshot capability.

There will be better blur reduction while capturing moving pictures after upgrading to this latest update. Go update and check yourself and leave a review here.

Expanded screenshot is another great improvement in this update. Just like other screen capture tools we use on desktop or laptop to capture more areas of the screen. While taking a screenshot, users will be able to scroll up or down to capture desired location. Great for capturing long conversation or web pages.

Other than these two major improvements, there are lots of bug fixes and improvements which includes- improvement in WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, Video stabilization. 

How to Update OnePlus 3 and 3T to Android 7.1.1 Nougat, OxygenOS 4.1:

To get the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat and OxygenOS 4.1 update on your OnePlus 3 or 3T, go to your phone settings, and check for software update. OTA update is rolling out is incremental. If you are not seeing any update on your OnePlus 3, then check out later. It may take few days to reach the update on your device.
